So much has happened since I posted last. I got married to the man of my dreams (he can be found at http://kr961.typepad.com) on May 6, 2007 in Malibu, California...yes, luckily before it burned.
We had a dream wedding. Our venue, Calamigos Ranch, was lush and green from brief rains a few weeks before. Our wedding party looked fantastic. Our parents looked even better. Katie, Ken's niece and our flower girl, was beautiful and did a great job. And the ring bearers, my nephews Jayden and Zach, were the comedy relief of the ceremony. Things could not have been better.
And the honeymoon, well...it was romantic, wonderful...everything it's supposed to be.
The Grand Canyon was the best place we could have started our hone
ymoon. Our hotel, the Grand Hotel, was comfortable, pretty and a short drive away to the gates to the park. We hiked, explored, went on a tour, saw wildlife -- a condor, mule deer -- and ate incredible food.
Then it was off to Sedona. If you've never been there, you gotta go. The rock formations are incredible and there is an energy that can't be beat. I don't mean the people.
..I mean energy in the air. I'm not into all that mumbo jumbo, but I can see why folks into new age "things" say Sedona is special.
Stay at the Kings Ransom hotel and get a deluxe room. It's a little extra but completely worthwhile.
Eat lots of food, go on tours, take advantage of the beauty of the surroundings and the romanticism that fills the air. It'll all be worth it!

Great entry! Mucho, mucho!
